Combined they have over 100 years of case management experience and have been involved in SUCCESSFULLY training hundreds of case management professionals as they prepare for the CCM Exam.

Meet the Instructors
Anne Llewellyn MS, BHSA, CCM, CRRN, RN-BC, is a healthcare leader with over 40 years of experience.
Anne is a Past President of the Case Management Society of America and was one of the original authors of the American Nurses Credentialing Center book, Case Management Review and Resource Manual. Anne has lectured nationally and internationally on case management, patient advocacy, and care coordination. She currently writes a healthcare Blog, Nurse Advocate.
Barbara Kuritz, RN BS LHCA, CCM, has held various roles in health care for over 30 years.
Her focus has been on case management, education, and leadership. Barbara is a past MidAtlantic Chapter President of Case Management Society of America.
Laura Ostrowsky, RN, CCM, MUP, has over 30 years of healthcare experience, including time as a staff nurse, QA coordinator, Director of UR and QA, followed by directorships in CM at New York Presbyterian (NYP), and currently since 1999, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She also spent 3 years in information services at the NYP Network overseeing the selection, acquisition, and implementation of an integrated hospital information application for UR, QA, Credentialing and Risk Management at 5 network hospitals.
Laura has published articles on Case Management in CMSA Today, Professional Case Management, Case in Point, The Patient Flow Journal and other periodicals. She regularly presents at national conferences including CMSA, the Patient Advocate Institute, and others on topics ranging from case management, patient flow, and payer-provider collaboration to advocacy, collaborative practice and case management’s role in the changing healthcare environment. Laura is a member of the Genentech Speakers Bureau where she presents on a variety of topics related to case management in cancer care.
Carol King, MSN, RN-BC, has worked as a nurse case manager for over 18 years in managed care, non-profit hospice, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care settings. She currently works as an RN Case Manager for TriWest, administering the Choice program for veterans across the country.
Carol previously served as Director on the CMSA national board and was an active member of the CMSA Public Policy Committee (PPC) where she was Co-Chair of the CMSA PPC Multi-State Licensure (MSL) Task Force for 3 years. Carol has published several articles about MSL & the Nurse Licensure Compact and has spoken on this topic at local and national levels. Currently, she serves as a Director with the Arizona chapter of CMSA.
